Each year, Technophos orchestrates a charity campaign, and this December season’s focus is squarely on creating a positive impact for children in need. Veneta Dimitrova, Chief Operator Officer, and her team from Technophos promptly stepped forward to lend her support to this noble cause.

This years’ charity campaign is aligned with the vision and mission of Karin Dom, a non-profit organization founded in 1996 by the hereditary diplomat and philanthropist Ivan Stancioff. Celebrating 27 years of service, Karin Dom has established itself in providing professional services for children with special needs and their families.

The organization has evolved into a comprehensive therapeutic center, boasting a team of highly qualified specialists, including physiotherapists, rehabilitators, speech therapists, psychologists, special teachers, and social workers. Karin Dom’s main activities are carried out through the Center for providing services for children with special needs and their families (catering to children aged 3-8), the Center for Early Intervention (focused on children aged 0-3), and the Resource and Training Center (providing qualified training for organizations and professionals).

The funds raised from this initiative will be utilized to procure essential equipment for children facing unique challenges.

“As part of our broader fundraising activities, we introduced a charming array of items, including calendars, holiday cards, and various gifts. The highlight of our campaign was the creation and sale of Christmas decorations. These beautifully crafted ornaments, made with care and creativity, were not only a festive addition to any home but also a symbol of generosity and goodwill”, says Bistra Todorova, Administration Manager.

The team, consisting of 10 individuals from Technophos, collaborated to ensure the success of this venture. The response from the colleagues and visitors alike was overwhelming, and practically all the decorations were sold. In total, 20 decorations were sold, contributing significantly to the fundraising goals.

In adorning the season with purposeful decor, Technophos not only spread festive joy but also made strides in supporting Karin Dom’s vital mission for the well-being of children with special needs and their families.
