“What my mom, dad, or son/daughter is really working in Technophos?” This is a question that many of our relatives often ask our colleagues, sparking the idea to organize a Technophos Open Day, where we could welcome the families of our employees for a short discovery journey in chemistry and the phosphate world.

On September 17th, Technophos was thrilled to host a crowd of family members eager to explore our environment. They were greeted by our COO, Veneta Dimitrova, who provided a short but essential safety introduction before the tour began. In an engaging and simple way, our colleague Anton Milev explained not only what Technophos does, but more importantly, why we do it. A quick quiz helped visitors translate our chemistry into daily activities and needs, deepening their understanding.

Our Lab colleagues added a touch of magic with safe, hands-on experiments designed for our younger guests, demonstrating chemistry in action. Children delighted in coloring solutions, releasing CO₂ through reactions, and watching balloons inflate, each experiment bringing smiles and wonder to our guests.

To close the tour, everyone had the chance to view the intricate needle-like structures of our pure gypsum under one of our microscopes. This memorable experience was captured in photographs, preserving the joy and fascination on the faces of our guests.

To thank everyone for their time and presence, we offered a walk-in lunch where connections and conversations brought a warm close to Technophos Open Day.
