Technophos continues its Scholarship and Internship Program for young talents in partnership with the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy (UCTM) in Sofia. The initiative aims to support motivated students who wish to build their careers in engineering and chemical sciences, while gaining practical experience in the phosphate industry.
For another consecutive year, Technophos invites Bachelor’s students (3rd–4th year) and Master’s students with a strong interest in engineering and inorganic chemistry to apply for the program.
Program Requirements
Candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Minimum academic performance: GPA above 4.50
- Good command of English
- Preparation of a course project or short research study related to the phosphate industry, such as:
- Production or purification of phosphoric acid
- Production of dicalcium phosphate
- Development or optimization of industrial phosphate production technologies
- Participation in a paid 6-week summer internship at the Technophos Innovation Center in Devnya, Bulgaria
Hands-On Experience in the Phosphate Industry

During the internship, participants will collaborate with experienced specialists and gain valuable insight into industrial chemical processes, engineering technologies, and applied research.
